... park near Macys. Its a cool little set up that they have here. Some sections of the road are closed off and they've set up some umbrellas and brightly coloured seats and tables so you can enjoy the sunshine. We enjoy the sunshine with the locals and the tourists. Hinesh doesn't want to go up to the Empire State cause of the lines and also once up there your view is blocked by the grid fence that stops people from jumping.

Next stop Madison Square garden. We only sticky beak ...

... I tried the Knicks one but didn't think it looked that great. Then we spotted a new Clippers one (Blake Griffin) blue with red and white edging, which Phil said straight away "You can't get that, I wanted it next!" But I tried it on and he said it looked really cool and after finding out they only do it in kids at the moment, said I should get it! We left the shop happy and I was excited to wear my new purchase.

... artsy with the old charm of a very old elevator. We were on the 15th floor in room 1511 which had a nice view of the street and the Chrysler Building in the distance. It was a small window to match the small room. I was prepared for the size though as I know the city is big on small spaces. The bathroom was actually bigger than I expected and very nice. Then I walked farther down 5th and over to Gramercy Tavern. Madison Square Park has added all kinds of cool little eateries, but fortunately, dinner was on the horizon.
