When we arrived, we checked-in to our hotel and headed down to Navy Pier for dinner. We ate at a mexican restaurant, Chango Loco, on the pier. Honestly, every one of us really enjoyed the meal. Our deal is that no one orders from the kid menu or ordinary dishes. We ordered a table full of fish, chicken and beef tacos, carne asada, some kind of mexican sliders (delish) and so on. on sale for only .99 (if I had a Walgreen card 2.49 without) .... back to the hotel for a crummy lunch although outside - get out of there as quickly as possible and cross the street to the 'Marion St Cheese Market' - cafe (should have eaten here) and cheese market for a great cup of Americano - meet my taxi promptly at 1:30 and off to O'Hare.....back to Ottawa -- a lovely evening!-- a bientot!

The Navy Pier is a family fun park, but there was interesting stuff for us too, including a display of Louis Tiffany's stained glass. We went outside as I wanted to see Lake Michigan up close, but it was too cold to stay out long, and we were scared of slipping over. It was really hot inside.
