Arrived at Heathrow 3 1/2 hours before takeoff ,to be told that the flight is overbooked and they could not allocate seats for us! Boarding passes were issued and we collected our allocated seating at the boarding gate.

Shopped in Naperville at the Apple shop to buy some connection for the iPad. Prices 25% cheaper than in the UK.

There was a lovely fountain which had spurts of water shooting up and waiting for the next lot of water spouts was a dog; just standing waiting patiently and then jumping with glee to catch the water. Obviously I don't look like their typical visitor with all my bags because as soon as I arrive in the building I had 4 security guards asking me loads of questions and wanting to see ID.
