I'm even more excited about going after visiting here and talking with other travelers, and it seems more real and possible, and like it is actually going to happen.     ... an amazing room - we are on the 34th floor which is about fifth from the top, and there are only four rooms on our floor.

    We started our exploration of the city by heading down to the waterfront, and found a good riverside cafe. The food was cheap, but sparse - my hot dog barely touched the sides (of my stomach).     ... to cross over different gang suburbs safely as a result of different schools closing down and students having to cross different suburbs and empty lots. It seems so foreign to us but is a really big deal here. We certainly haven't seen anything unsafe here, but then we aren't in those areas I guess. It's interesting reading, just google safe passage Chicago to find out more. Off to NY tomorrow... Hope the weather holds there is some fair rain happening in parts ...
