... called what's up with those beards, but they didn't even talk about beards? Weird. I really enjoyed Amsterdam, the city was busy and had lots to do shopping, eating, activities and it was all within reasonable walking proximity and the weather was amazing (when sunny) we both got a bit of a tan! At the end of the day I could totally see why people love to love in this little hidden treasure of a city, it can be peaceful, magical and fun, what more could you want? ...

... English translations for all the art on display. Really enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the piece! 4. ... the first canal. There were several cheese shops on the other side of the street, and we stopped in for some tasty samples. Our last stop was the Heineken brewery (which isn't actually a brewery anymore, but an "experience") and we went to visit the building and shop and came home to have our own Heineken experience from the fridge! The canals were really lovely today in the sunshine, and the bikes and flowers everywhere made it so picturesque. We enjoyed walking through ...

I think me and Nadiah are possibly ready to come home now. Amsterdam is cold and we have zero energy. We both keep sleeping a lot and we've gone from power walking everywhere to sluggish trailing. One more sleep and we'll be getting the megabus. This has been awesome but I'm ready for my own bedroom again. Today we had pancakes for breakfast and left the hostel late morning. We headed to the centre square where there is the old royal palace and other touristy ...
