Sunday 18th - our bus arrived just after 5am, though it's basically day light from 4:30 onwards. We decided to walk the 4km to the hostel and what a sight that was! Imagine everyone on their way home to bed at 5:30am, lots of stumbles and goodbye smooches. ... walk, and had what we have been craving for so long.. Subway! After that we grabbed a dessert from the Amsterdam Winter Market, which was a little baked coconut ball.. It was delicious! Then we headed back to our hostel and took a nap! Apparently we needed it because we woke up two hours later! After grabbing some supper and doing a bit of trip planning, we went out for another walk to see Amsterdam's beautiful lights one more time!
