I had left my options open for key west, just incase it was a fun town. But it proved not to be, so I was ready to move north. The sun is what initially woke me. ... easier to walk on, but we did go back out on the beach a couple times to see the colorful lifeguard huts. The last time we went out to the beach, we saw a whole group of terns just sitting on the beach, right next to the breaking waves. I don’t think I’d ever seen them that close before, only flying in the air. So we stayed a while so I could take lots of pictures.
