We went to look at our first house today. Joe had been combing through the binders of available houses and told me there are these townhouses that "Look really nice!" according to the framed drawings on the office wall. These artist renditions of the townhouse look nice, all wood floors and walls, very modern. I liked the kitchen, it has one of those refrigerators with the drawer freezer on the bottom. ...

... in the hot sunshine and jumping back in the lake for cool downs half way down. Rhys made it back in time for his work shift starting at 3 and Tim and Nomie headed back to Dave and Heathers tired but satisfied. What a day.

DID YOU KNOW??? it’s been the hottest summer on record for NZ. There are actually droughts in places which is mental for a country where some areas get up to 7.5 metres of rainfall a year (we thought Glasgow was wet)!

Friday night we were finally able to be freed off base! A group of us went exploring around downtown much fun!
