We went to look at our first house today. Joe had been combing through the binders of available houses and told me there are these townhouses that "Look really nice!" according to the framed drawings on the office wall. ... went to Sensou-ji Temple. There is a long street full of souvenir shops, which looks fantastic; you could get anything from rice crackers to hello kitty bags. The trees were beginning to change colour due to autumn, there were lanterns lining the streets and the Temple towered over the street, it was just beautiful and made you truly feel you were in Japan – just fantastic.

Friday night we were finally able to be freed off base! A group of us went exploring around downtown much fun!
