    2) Even Thai people find the food hot, sometimes too hot!

    3) It is great value for money – great meals from 1.50 per person and a hotel room from 10 per night

    4) I have only spent 4 days in Thailand this time and I realise this is not enough…a month is not enough, maybe a year would be a good start, we will just have to see

We will be camping at Khao Yai with the 90 5th grades for 3 days and 2 nights. I have never nor have never had an interest in sleeping in a tent. Apart ...

... to Chiang Mai! After about 5 hours and a few rest stops we made it to Mae Rim-Samoeng, a town about 40 minutes outside Chiang Mai. Here, Rick has a place in the rain forest. It is sort of a housing compound of about 8 units in three main buildings with communal open air kitchen and gathering areas next to a small creek, a rice pad, and a school for Hmong tribe kids. Great setting!
