... as it headed back the way we come and climbed the short, but steep path to the top of the park. The park had a few cafes and restaurants, but also still had remnants of the past. The two main sites are the massive clock tower, Uhrturm and the bell tower, Glockenturm. Interesting fact is while the castle was never conquered the fortress was largely demolished by Napoleonic forces in 1809, and the city paid a ransom to not have either of these structures destroyed. You can see ...

So we're now on route to Ljubljana capital of Slovenia. Our 4th Capital city this trip and 8th country crossed. We're 6 miles short of 1500miles into our trip and it's been amazing so far. The boys have compiled a list of the best thing each day and struggled to find any negatives. Their geography of European countries has improved and they've recognised how lucky we all are. Not only to have what we have but most importantly we have each ...

... to finish work. This really wasn't too bad and we kept ourselves occupied whilst we waited for Mike and Ken. Back in Graz we said our final farewells to the guys and then grabbed a bit to eat before heading back to the hotel. ... back to our spot and watched the GP2 and GP3 racing, all the while talking about the experience we'd just had. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world and still do now to be honest, I am just so grateful to have been given that opportunity. At around 6 we got a lift back to Graz with the guys and then headed out for some food. Once back at the hotel we got ready for bed and I went to sleep dreaming of all the drivers, incredibly happy ...

An early start! Up at 5:30 ( I didn't shower), packed for the day and down for breakfast by 6:30am. We met Paul the guide and walked several blocks to the bus ( it can't come into Old Town). It was a crisp, chilly morning with a hint of sun. Grand Prix Tours doesn't seem quite as upscale (?) as when we went to Belgium 3 years ago. We stopped at two other hotels before leaving Graz to pick up people from Grandstand Tours. Not sure if both companies have ...
