... br><br>We visited the Castle, and the Jain Temples housed inside. The Jains are another off shoot religion rooted in Hinduism. They worship no god, just their beloved leaders. I thought it was a Buddha image at first, but noticed that the eyes were wide open and a medallion was placed on his chest. We will be seeing more beautiful Jain Temples next few days. I'll try and study up on Jainism before I post much more related to them,<br>

In the morning we went exploring the old fort, making our way through the maze of old alleyways, discovering numerous crumbling haveli's. The homes were beautiful adobe, painted if the owner was married, and often stamped with traditional designs of sun, and Hinduism. Animals and children were everywhere. ... We were shown 2500rs heritage room and 3000rs suite. After some bargaining we took the heritage room without breakfast. While we were checking in, the lady manager or boss told us they would give us the suite room at no additonal cost as they have a cancellation. We were more than delighted. The room was very nice and spacious. There were 3 sort of sitting balconies with one of them in the very big bathroom.

... guesthouse took us through the winding streets to an Indian wedding in full swing. It was fantastic - there was a white steed which the groom rides slowly from his house to the brides house. Depending on the distance this can take from an hour to the whole night; there was a van with a massive soundsystem playing Indian dance music and lots of people dancing squirting foam and throwing money at the groom.
