... For dinner, we got hamburgers at an outdoor Thai restaurant called “Just Burgers… And More!” down the street. Despite the nonsensical name, the burgers and fries were awesome and flavorful. We had been craving some American food, and the menu was full of American and Russian meals that seemed authentic albeit prepared by Thai chefs; we could see them working inside. Foreigner food is really hit-or-miss in Thailand, but burgers were a great way to end the day.

Today we spent the morning teaching the kids (still with help from Niamh) and then I went into town with Katja so she could get a new phone. The shopping here is great, so many markets stalls and shopping malls (I even spotted a Miss Selfridge which I will be avoiding!!) - It isn't clean or pretty but I like it alot. A guy offered us a ride on a smaller passenger speed-boat for only 200bhats each, only 1 more than the slow, boring, plodding ferry. We took that and it was far more fun. It crunched and jumped over the waves, crashing down hard until doors on cupboards fell off inside and the female passengers screamed. It was cool.
