    ... down to the local Water Garden, but Brendan continued to feel worse. Eventually we headed back to the hostel and Brendan ended up seeping for the rest of the afternoon. Aching muscles, sore stomach, fevers, the works, and it came hard and fast. Not good for Brendan, but probably relatively good timing seeing as we are in Brugge for 4 nights and it's a pretty quiet city. So that was the end of our exploring that day.     ... didn't take long to try our first sample, with Jono ordering the 'Brugge Zot' and I the cherry 'Kriek Boon'. More photos and walking through the quiet city and busy Markt Square we admired the Belfry Tower and the line up of horse and carriages waiting in the center.
    We soon found that the food here was a bit out of our travel budget so found a very 'authentic' Irish pub to have a traditional Flemish stew complete with friets of course before wondering back ...

    ... and drank them quickly. I remember feeling fine and then feeling horrible. So Ben took me outside and I think vomited, which was really embarrassing. He then took me back to my room and from what I hear, he found another girl to hang out with that was not vomiting. I then went to sleep for a bit and awake when the Mexicans arrived back in the room. I remember being asked if I was ok and saying no I am not.
