    ... end our time in Paris. As a testament to how good it was, sitting at a tiny cramped table, in a packed restaurant, we ended up spending three hours there and not even realizing it.     ... goes that a Brugge soldier returned from the Crusades with the cloth that covered Christ after his crucifixion. It is now of display at this church for all to view and is brought outside for parades and special holidays. We then saw old church ruins in the basement of a hotel, which were alright, and climbed the 366 steps to the top of the Bellfry. What a view (and workout)!     ... direction. It looks like a promising area to walk more in, but, having had enough of walking, I head back to the hostel after a bit intending to relax and read my book. There's construction work outside my room's window and terrible thumping club music in the common room. I'm sorely disappointed.
