... of Bourbon Street, carnival, and freak show. Throngs of tourists, kids enjoying the cheap alcohol available in the raunchy bars lining the street, touts promoting 'ping pong' shows, Thai boxing, tours, and tailors crowd the street day and night. Fun to visit and for us, a necessary evil as it sits between our hotel and the beach.

... wifi and to get ready with music from my pod before Bangla Road and sometimes a few games of pool.
Other things we did include a gym day and watching Jobs at the cinema (which was great).

Things I wish were everywhere in the world and not just patong are cheap facials, back and shoulder massages and fringe braids.

We'll miss Patong Beach and hopefully return one day. Off to South Korea!

... of the island and recommended we go and check it out as the views were meant to be senstational. So after a long, tiring, sweaty and steep walk up 563829201737 steps (ok slight exaggeration but you get the picture), we made it to the viewpoint. The views were INCREDIBLE!
