... It wasnt too busy on the day I went so I took it easy. The dancing, bush and medicine show were also really good and gave an insight into the indigenous culture which most places dont offer. I also spoke to the indigenous workers and that was even more insightful.

Although Cairns didnt start off positively for me, it definately ended on a positive note. I would definitely suggest Port Douglas and Palm Cove and NOT Cairns city.

Happy reading, traveling and exploring x

... checked out before catching the coach to my next destination of Townsville. It was a 5.5 hour journey which somehow elapsed rather quickly. I have done a mini food-shop for 2-3days and spent just $20...being a plain eater has its advantages! Love to all back home, Churchy in Cairns (and now Townsville) ...

After a few nights drinking at the hostel (yes, there was a kareoke night and yes, I got involved singing 4 songs on my own...!), I met the group ...

... it was literally impossible to climb it by yourself, as part of the rock was in the water, it had got a layer of mould over it, and if you got the giggles, which me and cha did it made impossible to climb because you are just sliding down the rock before you've even got up. We would be on our tummies, trying to swim on this rock, like a beached whale, it was just hilarious. After a few goes at, I found the way to get up onto the rock was to bum ...

... the tears disappear, the first trip was to the new cabin but he wasn't too impressed with it, I had to do a few trips because we took so much stuff from the car when it went for sleep overs. He eventually got smitten with it and it didn't take long for him, Adam & Chris to perch up on the lounge to watch telly. I rounded them up to pack up the camper so we could enjoy our night in the cabin, there wasn't much to do so we got it done quick, we are ...
