... They seemed a little more timid than the other fish and so didn't cause too much panic! The tide had gone out by this time and the top of the reef was around 2 foot under water now! It was even more fantastic and I actually forgot to breath a few times!! Around an hour looking around the reef and then we headed back to the boat for a 2 hour sail home. Once we got up to the village of Kuranda it was a fairly cool small town with lots of little shops. You can tell it pretty much turned from an old historic rainforest village into a tourist stop, run by these villagers. But, it still maintained the appearance of this old village (minus the touristy stuff). From Kuranda, we took a trip on the sky rail. It's a little cart? pod? cube? I don't know the right word ...

We've not been doing a lot which is why I didn't blog yesterday. Today Paul had his first shift which he thinks went well, though the boss wasn't in.
