... we were taken out, thinking we were going to the vegetable market at Lagoa, then back. But we went on to Portimao, then to the shrine of Señora da Rocha and then back around 4.30. So a longer trip out.. But very pleasant. This evening Bill and I went to the fish restaurant on the beach and had Sea Bass - delicious but a little pricey. But isn't that what holidays are ...

We then went to the pool area, stretched out and read our books while basking in the sun. After a time Dawn went to the apartment and brought us fruit and snacks. A fellow Canadian came over with a can ...

We checked in to our one bedroom apartment at the lush resort at 7 PM, full of jet lagged excitement. The lobby bar is a fun gathering place with inexpensive drinks, games, and a setting conducive to meeting your fellow travellers. When home we have been playing tennis, ping pong, darts, as well as scrabble and cribbage. It was fun to stock our kitchen with the bare ...
