... Action bin ich los um mir den Palast des Maharaja's anzusehen. Unglaublich viele indische Touristen und Schulklassen draengten sich durch die prunkvollen Saele. Weisse Touristen habe ich noch fast keine gesehen. Viele Inder haben sich beklagt, dass die amerikanischen und europaeischen Touristen ausbleiben. Wohl auch ein Zeichen der Wirtschaftskrise.

... Det var et utal af gadeboder med gude-tingeltangel, kvinder som solgte kokosnødder og blomsterkæder og en masse køer som tullede rundt. Another Palace, Can it be True?
This was not a easy location to get to from our stop at Hampi, we needed to take a overnight train to Bangalore then change trains in the morning to a direct train to Mysore. We were lucky that we had a first class sleeper. Made it to our hotel around lunch time for our four night stay in the city.
