... and very early (about 4:30pm) so the next morning we got our bearings, checked out the pool, skatepark, basketball court, games room, shop, cafe and beach (this place has it all!). Our last day in the US - we'll full day that is!!! Needed to get some final purchases for our move across to New Zealand in the form of two bags to hold our sleeping bags. We left the house at 09h25 and had a look around a number of shops for a large "duffle bag but established that this was not a common requirement and that it would have been easier to order it online!!! ... for a lovely lunch. Then our day began and we decided to head toward the new Koala exhibit. On the way we walked through the small aviary and then through the Orangatan exhibit. Over to the Koalas and then around through the area where the backstage tour takes place. Saw the cheetah, rhinoceros, flamingoes, ...

... the animals, but that’s ok. We have just over 5 hours when all too soon we have to go back to the pick-up area. Poor Floss has swollen feet, probably due to the big walk they did in Sydney in bad shoes, added to the flight and the fact that she also is jet lagged. The journey home is a bit longer than we expected as there is an accident on the freeway, we arrive home safe and decide to have dinner and then head back to our rooms.

... nothing I was interested in. After about 30 minutes we decided to track Laneshia down and knew where to look first - any store that sold purses. We checked Coach first: Nope - she wasn't there. Next, was Dooney & Bourke: And yep, there she was, right at the register completing her purchase. She got four bags and I believe she paid the store's rent for the month - yeowwie!$! (And to think I got grief for trying to by a cheap ticket to see the Mavericks game ...
