We dropped our luggage off at the hotel; the downside of these early flights - although saving a lot of money by flying early, we can't check into most hotels until the afternoon. ... We finished off our night with some chocolate frozen yogurt, because that’s just what we do when we are together :). I’m sad I have to leave Laura, yet at the same time the thrill of the open road, hikes, campfires, and stars eagerly excite me to set off on the second half of my trip in the wilderness. ... so we don't have to stress about getting through customs. The boys are bouncing off the walls, they are soo excited to be back in California. We breeze through customs thanks to friendly TSA officers, an anomaly we rarely see. Unfortunately, we leave the International terminal and have to walk to the unconnected Terminal 4, meaning we have to go through security again. Ugh!
