We did spend an hour or so walking around the main park area looking at all the buildings, fountains and park land. This was very nice and we soon realised that this park was a good size with many more things to do and see.

When we got back to our hotel I decided that I really wanted to go for a drive to Coronado and then down the sea front before heading back to San Diego. So we headed out for a ...

Started the day with a healthy poached egg and rye toast breakfast at Denny's - ended it with a tequila and beer-fest in the old town area of San Diego! Such is our pathetic willpower but hey, we're only here once (as far as we know!). Really, really (did I mention really?) impressed by this city - the old town is fantastic and a must see for anyone visiting. Mexican restaurants in abundance and a great vibe (I'm starting to sound ...
