Bev and Roger picked us up at 9 and we headed into San Diego. Along the way we stopped at a Starbucks so that we could get email using their free wifi. It's a nuisance not having wifi at our campsite!

We can throw those in on Friday morning.

Aloha friends see you again on our way to paradise.

We just walked across the boarder easy enough no passports needed. They didn't even check us at all. Tijuana was rather dirty and lots of undesirable people all around and not many tourists. We got pointed to the main area and just walked over the main bridge in and out of Mexico, there ...

Sweet San Diego

... course by this stage had expanded to 6 suitcases! The walk was lovely and gave us an opportunity to see the wide, clean and gorgeous streets of inner city San Diego. What struck us immediately was how quiet things seemed...even as we had to cross the rode because of the 'private footpath' for residents only along a strip of one of the exclusive!

We checked into the Embassy Suites and immediately felt welcomed ...
