... Along with the history, the site has great vistas of San Diego Bay, Coronado Island and the Pacific Ocean. We visited the tide pools are where we climbed rocks and Matthew looked for sea creatures. He found some small crabs.

... in the cold Pacific Ocean while a few hardier individuals surfed near the jetty and two bikini clad California Girls swam bravely. All the hallmarks of a classic Californian beach town are evident here as off-season holidaymakers fished off the jetty, cycled, skateboarded or walked the promenade.

... try them. We continued on Main Street and checked out a few other places before driving to the Tortilla Café where we had a really good authentic Mexican dinner. We got back before dark and tried to get the screws in place but the space was too tight for either of us to secure the canister so the night was spent without the jacks down and the slide out. I had found an RV repair shop that could get us in first thing in the morning.
