Halong bay was a different experience altogether compared to Sapa. Much more relaxing!!! We had a bit of a rocky start when around half way on the bus from Hanoi we were told there was a possible cyclone on the way and we may not be able to stay overnight on the boat. The tour guide Dem, who was okay but nowhere near as good as Tu, didn't handle the situation very well, and some of the others in the group (especially those only on the one night tour) got pretty annoyed.
