Alvor was a treat. Arriving at about lunchtime we went to look at the Aire which was huge open and pretty full. Parked up by the beach instead and had Lunch and LUDO had a run before deciding to go to a site. We stayed for two nights in the 'tranquil' part of the camp. We were in a verdant hollow surrounded by green with our own BBQ almond trees and beautiful birds. Weather was a bit drizzly but it ...

But with rain pounding, the howling winds rocking the Burkemobil and fierce waves crashing on to the shore we began to wonder if we’d done the right thing. Eventually we slept and grateful to be in one piece, the ...

... the street to another bar/club that actually ended up being much more fun. There was a group of about 10 of us, some I didn’t know, but we had a great time dancing, drinking and being college kids. We headed back to the hotel late and ended up stopping at a park on the way that had a huge pyramid shaped jungle-gym. We laid under the stars for half an hour, just taking in the beauty of the night. There was a cool breeze that eventually sent me back to the hotel ...
