We were overwhelmed by the love these children have-each one wanted to hold our hands or sit on our laps they were happy but wanted and needed human affection.

We met the house mom's that care for the children, ...

Tania picked us up by 845 am. I had had breakfast with Nicolas and Tarun previously. She toured us downtown and showed us the places that were damaged and then demolished by the earthquake, including the presidential palace and the main cathedral. Downtown had an aspect of barrio corazon de jesus in medellin. Lots of mechanical shops, spare parts and fixing of home appliances. Very colourful and interesting, but generally poor and dirty. It ...
