The reason I love Sharm el-Sheikh so much is it's a holiday mecca! The place - a gorgeous sea view beach setting - has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Yes it's nice to see the locals and culture on holidays, but here you don't experience the down sides of this. ... you. Anyways say what you want about the British, they get stuff done, and I appreciate that. The Red Sea is famous in diving circles for its warm weather, crystal clear water, coral gardens and marine life. It's one of the places where you can see corals and big things like tiger sharks and whale sharks. For the non-diver, the former could eat you (though bubbles scare fish, even sharks), the latter is the biggest fish in the sea but is a gentle giant. I dived 3 days here. ...

... interview of David Frost carried out a couple of years ago by Paul O’Loughlin the entertainments director. David Frost had of course died last year whilst on one of the Cunard Ships. Tonight the clock goes back again and tomorrow we transit the Suez Canal. We need to be escorted through in a convoy and there is so much to see that there will be a
running commentary on the decks and all other on board activities have been cancelled. It should be an interesting day.
