After a few stressful days
camping on the sand of Portugal's beaches (which we have now come to LOVE) we
headed slightly south to Lisbon for the Optimus Alive music festival. The crux
of our three day festival experience can be summed by the following:

- Sleep in

- Phenomenal lunch/breakfast

- Lazy arvo, reading/napping/shopping/playing cards

-Drinking

- Running amuck at Optimus

The path seemed very busy compared to what we have been used to. After about an hour, we started a descent towards San Pedro with the ruins of the 18th century San Pedro Castle and a 16th century tower coming into view. Cala de San Pedro is described as a delightful bay. The ...

Monday 28th April

Weather: same same

We moved up the coast to a campsite at Los Escullos. There isn't anything at Los Escullos except the campsite, a restaurant and an old Fort. The campsite is about a kilometre from the beach so we headed there later in the afternoon for a spot of sunbathing.

Tuesday 29th April

Weather: Can it get any hotter?

Did a circular walk today in land to San Jose and then along ...
