You guys. You guys! You know how sometimes a place is known for something. Like, for example, how Belgium is known for chocolate? Well. It's for good reason. Holy hand made dark chocolates, Batman! We have spent the last two days in Belgium in a small city called Bruges. Sometimes spelled Brugge, and occasionally, though not often, spelled Brugse. It is a historic medieval town that apparently looks almost identical to when it was first built. We decided ...

... cannot be delivered on time! So we need to make the two stop train ride from Lissewege Station to Zeebrugge and collect the biles from "JUMP" Cycles ourselves. Lissewege Station is about as busy as a Hornby Train set in a power cut. Fresh from our travels by train from Epsom to The Crimea we arrive 20 minutes early only to be greeted by tumbleweed and a waste bin that probably only needs emptying every 2 years! The ...

... The old heritage buildings of Brugge have strict rules re changing the exterior so these are having to be left as is and the current home owners are still experiencing daylight robbery.

The city centre was beautiful and we spent the last hour exploring until we had to head back to the ship. Again a lovely place that we would like to return to.

Tomorrow is a sea day heading up the English Channel.
