... We thought we might head to the beach when we woke but due to a slight hick-up we first had to purchase new bathers oh what a shame! By the time that was done it was closer to dinner time so the swim will have to wait till tomorrow . Tonight we thought we would go back to the place where we had breakfast as it had been so to nice to indulge in the smorgasbord followed by a nice evening walk to walk it of ...

Up waaaayy to early to catch the ferry to Rhodes. It's huge. Semi's driving in and pulling trailers off. About 8 of them and most of them went back 2 or 3 times. Sitting at the back of the ferry watching Kos and Turkey disappear. Very bumpy. It's almost like we can feel the engine vibrations.

... love both my Mum and my Dad to the very bottom of my heart. They have supported me endlessly and I have missed them both every day I have been away. I know that many of the experiences I have had are exactly what my mum would choose to do if she could, her MS is restrictive and although mum is acceptingly grateful for all the wonderful things she had chance to do prior to her MS, I have had times during my travels where I would ...

... used to grow in abundance around the island and at its peak had a population of over 22,000 supporting the divers and merchants, now the population is less than 3,000. You can still buy local sponges, the best coming from below 80 meters, and they are so much more impressive than what I have seen of felt before, amazingly elastic, and incredibly strong and apparently lasting up to a decade of regular use. Within 30 minutes of eventually finding my hotel in amongst ...
