Mary, Shelley & Dan arrived in Lindos Friday afternoon and settled into Mary's beautiful home, aka The Museum. After a slow morning regrouping from our road trip, we headed to the main beach, which is paved with sun beds all summer but comparatively deserted now. ... budget tickets a few days before you travel. My plan was to go by train from Athens to Thessaloniki as it is a well documented route and sounds great. My ticket cost me €29 but if you book earlier 3/4 weeks in advance you can get some tickets for just €9. Thessaloniki is going to be fun to stay tuned for that one.
