      ... guests ready to depart. Yep, making sure they are packed, have returned hire gear and that they have car keys and passports etc for tomorrows journey. And we have to check again in the morning.

      ... walking and using the poles, which was starting to aggravate it a little. Anyway when I put my arm out to stop the fall, I got it right at the wrong angle and felt it all seize up. The Vin Chaud helped, but I wasn't using that arm any more for today anyway. So I sat out the last run of the La Cha, and waited the few minutes it took them to get down and back up again.

      Today I did the 30 minute trip in my rental car up to La Clusaz one of the closest ski villages to Talloires where my hotel is located. Despite the fact that virtually no snow has fallen this season, La Clusaz was buzzing with lots of visitors. The lack of snow is very disappointing for me as I assumed I'd be skiing most days. Fortunately, heavy snow is forecast in three or four days.
