      ... like I even applied for... It can be a tad discouraging, but I am just applying for more and more, and I am hoping that out of my several plans, one will work out.       Today I did the 30 minute trip in my rental car up to La Clusaz one of the closest ski villages to Talloires where my hotel is located. Despite the fact that virtually no snow has fallen this season, La Clusaz was buzzing with lots of visitors. The lack of snow is very disappointing for me as I assumed I'd be skiing most days. Fortunately, heavy snow is forecast in three or four days.
