... when girls get over a certain height they do appear a little misshapen.

Fine landing which is always appreciate. Fabulous airport at Dubai but empty. I think it is because most people are in transit and it WAS 0500 hrs in the morning. Don’t bother with the duty free - no difference. There are a lot female taxi drivers and they drive pink cabs. Certainly don’t quite as threaten by female drivers.

... the Burj Khalifa we were surprised that it wasn't all that lit up... turns out it IS very well lit up, but we were so far away from it and it reaches so far up into the sky that we couldn't yet see all its lights... it's 3 times taller than the Eiffel tower, who does that? The Palm Jumeirah is a man-made sand island built 6.5km into the sea and 11km wide, in the shape of palm fronds... who does that? and it has homes and hotel rooms for 65,000 people, WHO DOES THAT? ... chairs and clean toilets to go to ( this was particularly important to Richard with his tummy trouble). We enjoyed our time there. The flight was full so no chance of a spare seat anywhere. We watched movies all the way throughout the 31/2 flight and it ran an hour late. We arrived in Dubai,mow raked out how to find the taxis after getting our bags. Susan had to admit defeat in the bag challenge as Richard was 3 bags ahead and we think there is only one chance left we think. ...
