... that I would know how that felt off course). Staggering round the hotel with no real idea where we were going. We made it back to our check in desk for our flight to Beijing with 3 hours still to kill. We were so desperate for sleep. We found a phone booth and curled up on the floor and crashed.

All that happened after was that we woke up, got on our flight and departed for the adventurous Beijing. Gap officially filled.

... the sunset and then just sat in the vastness of the desert while the drivers said their prayers behind a sandhill.

Dine and dance was very good. They did the dance, but no belly dancing as this is off limits during Ramadan. The meal was great and best described as a Bedouin interpretation of a kiwi BBQ. To our pleasant surprise beer and wine were available.

This was a great experience which could only be better if you could drive ...

... begin tomorrow! First stop this morning was the Old City, to wander around the museum and souks before the day heated up. It was already 40C, so we were hoping it wasn't going to get any hotter! The museum showed the history of the development of Dubai - it is amazing to think that most of the development has been since the 1960's! We managed to lose Inyayt for a little while - he rang to tell us where he was parked and to walk towards the bus - only trouble was that there ...

... from where we are staying is the Dubai museum, from the outside looked like a poor effort a few old boats on display they used from trading but it was the underground displays that made the 3 dirham worthwhile.
