        ... coat of salt over just about everything. The local fishermen came along and tied-up their boats with extra lines and fenders because they knew what to expect! It continued for another few days before finally dying down and we had one mooring line snap with the wear. It was not cold and we had all we needed in the way of shops for provisions so there was no rush to continue on to Crete. A young couple on a small yacht in the harbour ...

        ... back and sit it out back inside. It was 2 more days before we were able to move on. With our supplies running short it was on the 3rd morning, after a 2nd yacht (also sheltering) made a successful attempt to leave and headed off in the opposite direction to our next port. The wind was still blowing a force 4-5 and increasing, but in our favour, so it was a good sail though a strain to helm for the 5 hours passage to Nisos Kasos and a harbour.

        ... cruise ships. There was thousands of tourists and I started to panic about the bat transfer and the bus trip. Have a look at the photos.
