I waked up not that early in the morning, and wakled around the town looking for a breakfast. I stopped by some local-style-caffee, the food was very fatty, whatever.
The town is very crowded with the local tourists, i'm not sure what brings them here - small kids, young couples, big families... strange.
I waited all the morning for the local Bookworm shop to get opened, and was more than happy ...
... 14km of white water rafting! In which twice i almost drowned and only thankful to a big dutch guy for saving me! Rafting was a great experince and would def do it again even thou it is kinda scary.

Today we woke up kind of late but decided to get stcukl in straight away we booked a zorbing session and a horse ride into the mountains! The zorbing was a pretty ...
... you do something, so small, you scratch the mirror on a car, and they explode, their so angry. Like that." It seems to me apt that Igor has, for no apparent reason, chosen to tell us about an obscure banned French film centering on aliens. He spent his morning explaining to us how he saw Shangri-La once, and what travel at 4000m is like ("you drink water and zap, it's gone, you want more) and about how he works at Hamley's in ...
McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh, India hammittA flying visit back to the capital to catch our onward planes to America and Hong Kong as we needed to split for a couple of weeks to tie up some loose ends. After spending over 1 and half years in Aisa we both had mixed feelings about leaving although Ben still had China and Hong Kong to go before he said his final goodbyes. South America here we come!
Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India benandsabine... not up to me. Whether you believe it works or not doesn't matter. Give it a try and see for yourself. If you're too far away for my hands to reach, don't worry. I do distance healing also. You can even request a shot of energy for some future event where you'll be needing all the support you can get. All I need to know is the time and place. I will not charge money for my services, at least not yet. Send me a mail and we'll figure out something once I'm back home again. With love, Morten
Manali, India monostratos... sleeping bags and extra blankets. And room service :) How weird it was to have a three course meal served in a tent. Great food by the way. And there were donkeys, mules and horses grazing around the camp. And huge eagles soaring above - and even cooler - below me. I didn't see any slow leopards and I can't decide whether that's good or bad. I mean you have to die of something, and being eaten by a snow leopard seems like a better way than ...
In the middle of nowhere, India monostratos... situation where everyone potentially suffered. We had a meeting with the Kullu hotel owner, who was the money collector, the one who hired everyone, it appeared--things had to change. It took awhile, but things did change for the better. That night, the rain pounded the slate roof of the abandoned cabin where we stayed. Snake Falls began to roar. Under a sunny morning drizzle whose combination made the spruce and fir forests sparkle ...
Parvati Valley, India lraleighAfter 2 very mad days in Mumbai we had to cope with altitude sickness and much cooler temperatures in Leh the next day!! Try going from sea level at 35 degrees to 4000 meters at 15 degrees overnight and see how that feels!! It took us 2 days to acclimatise to the altitude in Leh and even then we were stopping every few meters to catch our breath (as you all know I am not ...
Leh, India cooljazz... Leh, the largest city in the eastern half of Kashmir. I will have to go over two passes, each more than 15000 feet, and prone to unpredictable weather changes and patches of washouts, with potholes that could swallow a man, make my camp in a hopefully somewhat sheltered and not-too-cold place, and go on again. This will be the toughest ride yet, but after 9000 km in India, I think that it has all led up to this moment, this journey. There may be an entry or ...
Dharamshala, India bloomer... to ask about getting to Dharamsala. Pretty soon we were seated in the back seat of an almost-new nippy little car. It was a model manufactured by the Indian giant Tata and seemed to have been based on a Nissan Micra or similar. It was, without exaggeration, the cleanest, least dented, most modern car I had seen in India. Just before we pulled away the driver turned to face us and said 'If the police stop us then you say you are my friends".
Within minutes of setting ...
