... Lots of laughing and fun. We left the house and walked back to the bus. The looks and laughs from the local people were so funny. When we got back to the bus, everyone was dressed in costume. We took photos and then gave back the clothes and said goodbye. Rugs are an important craft and tradition of the Berbers. We were taken to a family owned rug business. ... at the tight series of hairpin switchback, there are two hotels. Riad Bleu Afriqua is the one perched against the wall and looked more interesting. Dave had to hunt for the proprietor. He gave us a grand room with a view for 300dr, including breakfast. He gave us the registration book and asked us to fill in our personal details. We noted the prior customers had stayed three weeks earlier.

... folk still working as they had for generations. Contemplating this it seems to me that holidays are for city folk. Time has a completely different meaning in a place like this. We break time down to hours and minutes. For these guys is is only important from a seasons perspective. I am now 3 hours further up the road from my colleagues, don't know how we are to re group at this time. Distance travelled today 437.4 K at an average speed of 62 ...
