    Monkey's Fingers and Hairpins

Boumalne du Dades is the town at the mouth of the Gorge du Dades where we turned left up and into the Dades Gorge. Clouds closed in above us letting only minutes of sunshine light up the picturesque settings of mud-stone villages, the color of them depending on the color of rock appearing in the mountains surrounding ...

We were greeted with the traditional sweeeeeet tea and biscuits in the garden surrounded by palm trees and orange trees The rooms we had were huge and dinner was special. We had soup followed by a Pastilla (Savoury filling wrapped in Filo pastry with icing sugar and cinnamon on top) For desert we had diced banana and apples in Youghurt topped with date juice. Yum, yum, yum.

... started to go downhill for me. I had a tagine that had sand in it...and I barely ate. I felt rather bloated.

We took another grand taxi from Rissani to Tinerhir, with me sitting in the passenger seat in the sun. After falling asleep for an hour, I woke up severely dehydrated, with my hands cramping, numb, and unclenching difficult. I've had this happen to me before and it became the most painful moment of my life when every joint in my ...
