... day. From Pamukkale, we drove to the ancient Greek and Roman city of Aphrodisias to see ruins -- famous for the Temple of Aphrodite. We toured the museum and saw some really incredible statues then walked around what was left of the city. We saw the main gates, the temple of Aphrodite, the bath house, the agora and theatre. ... We are on an excellent four lane highway. Some Dane must have gone awol as we have had many Tuborg signs over the last few days. A railroad ran parallel the highway for a good chunk of the trip. Doing better than 80 kph which is fine.

Chatted with Lyn about horrid people one has to put up with on trips. A 1023 loo break in Isabeyli, leaving a scant 9M later. There's hope for this lot yet. Madame had passed on that the brekkie coffee left a 'burning taste' ...

... There was an old historical wine cellar next door which we had to visit of course. The wines were mainly fruit wines and a couple of bottles were purchased by the group.
