    ... TV news in Britain . Our first glimpse of the place is a surprise. Descending from the motorway, we catch a quick view of a long, sunny, sandy bay with a promenade. We have chosen our hotel, Hotel Termas Marinas El Palasiet, because it looks easy to find, appears clean and comfortable and has access to parking. We got to the beach just north of where we wanted to be by about 12, so we all sat down and ate our bocadillos (sandwiches that everybody's host mom had given for the trip).     Had a lovely time but couldn't wait to get on the road again, we watched the sunrise had a cuppa and were on the road for 8am en route to Peniscola, it was so nice there we decided to go back for another night and another Chinese meal! Acting like locals we decided we would try to avoid the toll roads as they virtually double in price for the holidays so we hit the dual carriageway and headed into the hills.
