... how beautiful they were. Azay-le-Rideau was having construction done so I didn't enjoy it quite as much. There was a lot of history to it, so naturally Lauren and I snuck away to get ice cream. (Il faisait très chaud, aussi) I posted a lot of pictures of the two Chateaux in my FaceBook album.
Today we had our written placement test for our July classes. I'm going to miss having class for just 2-3 hours and the rest of the day to explore!
... Clos de Ligre. It is beautiful, quiet, out in the country, surrounded by grape vines and wheat fields. A great great great change for quiet and relaxation. Azay Le Rideau was only a few kilometres away and there was a spot in the Aire so we stayed there. Went to the chateau which was quite interesting. The kids were all free.
