As we wind our way down into the valley a heavy fog covers everything. Visibility was down to 50 metres at times.
5 hours later and the fog has not lifted as we speed along driving as safely and as fast as we can. It is still foggy as we approach the deviation past Paris on our way to Saumur. All the way from the French alps to the Loire valley across France.
