... br> After settling in we took a stroll to check it out and found we were only about 350 metres from the impressive Chateau in Bauge. after our stroll we had decided on a restaurant which was part of an Auberge de France hotel. It was excellent.
We had passed by Bauge a number of times over the years but as the road towards Le Man bypasses the centre we had never stopped.
... which we were disappointed in especially as there was a new chef.
Left the Campanile Hotel about 9 am. About 370 km and took 6 hours including stops for coffee, toilet breaks and something to eat. Lovely drive and no hold ups even through Poitier, Angouleme and ...
... a refreshing "biere au pression", we meet two of our neighbours from the site.
The lady of the pair injured her hip some years ago, and, has since had the joint replaced no less than SIX times, and, they still ride around on a tandem! Some people are amazing.
