... part of the village where the same man as before waited for us along with his Chief. They welcomed us to the village and granted us permission to enter. The Chief lifted a branch which was stabbed into the ground blocking the entrance up and guided us through the walkway.

... market this was great to wonder around & look at the different veggies, fruit, root veggies & fresh birds. Vic bought a mango. I went mad over all the magnificent flowers amazing colours I was in heaven clicking away. Lastly we headed to the duty free shop to buy some alcohol. ... was cancelled because part of the hall flooded and the switchboard kept tripping. So we did Family Worship instead with Keren and Layth as they were already in town so they popped in.

... food is nice, but there is no variety, so the lucky things are happy even with my cooking. Cooking for 20 is a little scary (mi fulup long fraet) but with the trusty thermomix in my corner, I am invincible! She cooked a chicken and rice dish with custard for dessert. I met the brother who heads the translation teams on Tuesday night and asked what he thought of the meal.
