So, we have not had any wifi access since leaving Amalfi on Thursday! I'm typing this on a tiny Samsung, so please forgive any typing or formatting errors. We left the wonderful Settebello Hotel and the family that run it at 10am on Thursday to set off for Sicily. The plan was to drive as much of the 450km distance as possible before overnighting somewhere in Calabria. We found a place in Zambrone on Booking.com ...

We got mistaken for German tourists by a well dressed gentleman who directed us to an illy coffee place. It was lovely. I went to the Farmicia by myself to get some allergy tablets and after signing, role playing etc We understood each other. We were the only foreigners in town. When we ...

Plenty of flat roofed apartments and they went for miles. Our impression of Bari that we had from the Discovery Italy book was of a quaint seaside town, no way it was huge.
