    ... we are it for English first language speakers for miles around. It is quite rural and lovely. And very tropical in appearance. We left Sorrento about 10:20 am this morning in our rental car with Larry as the sole driver for the next week. We are now committed to drinking the extra €160 it would have been for the second driver, Gary, in Sicilian wine. After one or two hairy, scary wrong turns, we found the ferry in San Giovanni and made the 20 minute crossing to Messina in Sicily - very exciting to start the Sicily portion of our trip, if a little apprehensive, as I never know whether the places we book online will be habitable and remotely resemble their descriptions..... will report back soon..... He took us into large offices and gave us booklets on various aspects of Mammola. There was a computer in one office but I couldn't help noticing the folders in cupboards dating back to 2006 that in our bureaucracy would have been archived.     ... the way back to town and we waved him farewell. Back to 17-19 Via Secondi Cirilli for photos. The daughter of the neighbour came out Rozzelea who had lived there for 27 years. She started chatting then another lady that Rozzalea knew who had lived in Canada and spoke English joined us. We chatted for over 45 mins and Rozzalea brought us iced tea. ALaura!!
