After an 8 hour flight from Ohare, we arrived in Zurich, Switzerland at 1030 AM on January 28, which is around 330 AM for my central time friends and 430 AM for eastern time people. Flying over the Alps was very cool, it was snow covered mountains as far as the eye could see. We were at Zurich International until 1250 then we took off for the 45 minute flight to ...

Scoreeeee. 20+ hours later we arrived in France at 4 am. And it could only get better.. ...

Got back to his house and he whipped up an nice lunch before I started to pack and sort through my photos. Left the house at 6:30 to go to the airport. Checked-in and did all that stuff then said final byes to Simon, when he gave me a Swatch watch for christmas! It was a short flight back to Luton, went to bed late as Carol and I looked through my ...

... view from the outside. Another landmark that you can't miss is the chapel bridge, which is super cool with its water tower that stands in the middle of the bridge. Throughout the centuries, the tower was variably used as a prison, torture chamber, and later a municipal archive.

Disappointment of the century, we didn't get the chance to see the Swiss Alps as the weather wasn't playing ball. This is something that was high on our to do list, whether we ...
