'No, no, I can't go on', cried Rhianwyn. We were running around the Yas Marina F1 circuit and the track heat sign said 43.4 degrees! Why hadn't we just cycled like last time? The 5.1km lap seemed never ending and the fact it has the longest straight in F1 was no comfort. Thankfully we got round eventually and walked back to the hotel.....dripping all the way! ... for a run in the 30+ degree weather in an attempt to sweat off the excess pounds prior to the close of weigh-ins! I felt so sorry for those that were doing laps around the arena in the sun. David was under the 66.5 KG limit at 61KG, therefore we proceeded upstairs to the official weigh-ins and get his athlete ID card.

The next morning we sat on the terrace enjoying our coffee and the beautiful sunrise. Following our morning coffee, we moved down to the restaurant.
