I get slightly better over time, but you’ll still notice some oddities like the clouds and any objects I’m standing near appears warped at the edges. However, the long shots they provide more than make up for any minor defects.

... the rapids that we had listened to all night. It was our last splash. The rest of the trip was slow going. We paused a couple times to let people jump in the water to cool off. Needless to say, they didn't stay in long. About 11 we ate the sandwiches as we continued floating that we had made in camp before leaving, then it was time to readjust everything.

... walked around on the rocky ground soaking up views and showing Colin and Anne how to take some classic jump shots! By the time we had to re-board the helicopter Kate was feeling much braver (thanks to the champers?) and took the front seats with Chris and Anne. Arrived into Vegas at 4pm after 2 and s half hour delay. Derek case didn't come off the belt and they couldn't find it. They eventually found it on a cart on the tarmac. Our shuttle had gone so had to wait for another so wasn't a good start. . Checked into hotel but had to walk thru another one first. Such a long walk thru smoky smelly casino. They smoke everywhere here in the casino, restaurants on the strip. People ask for money ...

Golf at Reflection Bay Saturday morning proved as enjoyable as Mark Tracey predicted. It was both challenging and fair. Our foursome included two brothers-in-law from Dallas who heaped us with helpful information, both on the lay of the land of each golf hole, as well as things to do and see next week as we make our way through Texas.
