We arrived 6 hours late in Denver, not overly annoyed as we had come to expect it from the trains and the train itself was an experience. We were greeted by clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine but were not too hot. The ‘mile-high city’ had a gentle coolness to it that kept me happy.
