      ... vouchers. I had to buy undies $9, deodorant $5, bottled water $2 from the gift shop because my luggage could not be delivered to me. I hope the bag makes it to Dallas. Worse thing of all I'm losing out on $600 because I can not teach the class for Jim :-( So this mishap costed me $600+16=$616 ...

      Well yesterday we arrived at the airport at what I perceived to be plenty of time to board our flight. Once at the counter, we were informed that my perception was slightly skewed, and the flight was closed.       ... no, Joel was looking out for us and pot pies were had....just wow. WOW. After we closed the place down (staff was both incredibly courteous and interested in seeing us leave so they could), we grabbed a taxi and got back acoss town in the same amount of time that it took the train to get to five of the 23 stops we stopped at on the train.

      Many thanks to Anna at the United desk for helping us get a flight out of the country, and to the staff at the Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder ...
