The whole stretch from Silifke to well past Antalya is revolting high rise. Mind you some of them are unbelievable; so kitsch that they are interesting. We thought that maybe someone had started a completion to see who could design the ugliest building!

... about 2pm. It's such a beautiful port here, this time we took a little walk around the town. Getting harnessed most of the time by the Turkish trying to get us to buy things and go on boat trips... To be honest we jut escaped one ship we don't want to get back on a boat in our free time! Currently sat in a little cafe with a traditional Turkish kebab and the best chips ever! Port food is so much better than ship food! Talk to you all again soon ...

It was such a pretty port, set into the cliffs, the Turkish style boats on the water, the castle on the top of the hill. But can't stay anywhere too long. First the attendants rubbed every inch of the skin - front and back - with a loofah like mitten, which removed lots of dead skin material! Then the attendants used a cheese cloth-like sack dipped in soapy water to disperse suds over the body.
