... br> In the evening we parked at the mall on Quinta Ave and walked along the tourist strip down to the park where some locals were performing a Mayan dance. The avenue is pedestrian-only and reminds me of a mostly chill "foreign tourist zone". Lots of overpriced restaurants ready to serve, but the touts aren't that aggresive (but are a little bit).

... they are not pies here, they are empanadas but essentially they are pastry wrapped around a filling. Cheap as can be and very, very tasty.

... lunch or dinner (could have 2 of each if we liked). But the best part is the free drinks! Karina is a tad excited. We thought it might be just house beer, spirits and wines but no, every and any drink is included. Every spirit you could think of and more. Cocktails, everything is available. There is a 24hr snack bar (Karina is very excited about this one) where they have make your own nachos, skewers sometimes, chicken nuggets.... And a big thing of cheeses and fruit. There ...

Well, it's been a busy couple of days! We've got a nice little routine going now. Breakfast about 9ish, then back to the room to get our beach stuff and put our sun cream on, then off to the pool/beach. We usually base ourselves near the pool because it's quieter as the beach is quite small and so you end up being really close to other people. Most of the people on there are Italian and super loud, so I'd rather ...
