China is getting real

... take our time and make some stops along the way. I'll do some more research, but I'm sure there are plenty of things making it worth not taking the train back in one take, but spending a night here and there.

At work, high season seems to be over. From one day to another, we went from a workload we could barely handle to even having time for a full hour lunch break - and the weather, which has been a bit rainy the past few weeks, is finally clearing up, ...

... rocks. It was very peaceful. We then walked back, as Kyle needed a water (dehydrated i believe) and left stacie in the bar with Geordy and went to lay down in a hammock (have I told you they are awesome yet?) I finished with ...

... fun. I managed to order us burrito and quesadillas for lunch, all in Spanish which I was pretty chuffed about and then we stopped to look in a pet shop window to see what furry critters were moor sale in Playa. We recognised the guinea pigs, but that was about it. There were little mouse like creatures with no tails (we've decided they are voles, rightly or wrongly), a larger size version of the same with very fat bodies, and then these totally cute little guys who I think are ...

Sinkholes and Jersey Shore

... expectations as to what ‘full of tourists’ and ‘..much quieter’ means. I can handle the few odd Germans with ‘walking-sticks-and-complete-hiki ng-attire’; I don’t mind a bunch of yobbo Aussies and even some rowdy Yanks but when you get look-alikes from the entire cast of Jersey Shore, you’re encroaching on what I consider to be ‘..much quieter’. Dudes in massive sunglasses, shining, puffy muscles and tiny pants ...
