... being the beds that we were assigned. There isn't a whole lot of storage space, but we managed to precariously load our bags onto the small metal bars over the beds. This wasn't that difficult a task, but the several pairs of eyes that stared at us made it seem so. Soon after we settled in, the car attendant (prodvanista) brought each of us a sealed package of clean linens. ... and the park territory was swamped with cheap attractions and cafes. In 2011 Gorky Park underwent a major reconstruction. All amusement rides have been removed in order to transform the place into an eco-friendly recreational zone. All that is left is the space shuttle, a stark reminder of the Soviet era space race.

Only 440 photos so far........... Alarm goes off about 9am and we need to be sorted to leave at 12.00, at 9.30 we get a call from from Likehome the property company to check what time we will be leaving. We use up some of our supplies and are packed and ready to leave on time, we take final advantage of the wifi and send most but not quite all of our D6 blog. We leave the apartment and as usual Kim is exactly on time!! Now do we flag down another complete stranger for a lift ...

... roubles was no different, no acknowledgement at all. You hand over what you want changed & there is no talking at all.

... double bed and on demand tv, 1st class on this beauty means you only share with one other person instead of 3 (2nd class) or 49 (3rd class). I also have use of a shower head which comes out of a sink. Oh the luxury. Uniformed Chinese carriage attendants wait outside each train and check the tickets before allowing people on board.
