... ride into Zagreb was clear of traffic but not of weather as brooding clouds of dark rolled in. We found the area of our hostel with an normal amount of figuring (observation & educated guesses) but actually arriving at the hostel proved more difficult having to contend with a labyrinth of 1 way streets.

... as we walked around with our Zagreb guide book, checking out monuments, buildings and churches. This city was set out perfectly for tourists, yet this city was not pretentious. The restaurants and bars weren't overpriced and locals were friendly. We spent a whole day on foot covering over 22kms, exploring Zagreb from lower town, upper town and all the way to the mysterious cemetry, one of the most interesting cemetries in Europe.
