... Barri Gothic district....a labyrinth of narrow, medieval streets that encourage "getting lost".

Our hotel recommends another tapas restaurant, the Patron. We are pleasantly surprised to discover they have a very accomplished jazz trio performing exceptional covers of Eric Clapton and Santana. Their smooth Santana renditions compliment a genuine Spanish Paella as another memorable day in Barcelona comes to a close.

... idea for our trip…..we all work at Seaworld on the Gold Coast. I’m a dolphin trainer, Zarah is a penguin trainer and Andy is a seal trainer….this was going to be great, tonight we were going to run with the story and hoped it worked.

... next flight, so we sort of have a tour of the airport which is going to be quite amazing when it is finished, very opulent.

Also have to say that the meals on the Emirates flights were really nice and tasty. Service was good and we would definitely fly with them again.

On arriving at Barcelona we collected our baggage without any time delay and fuss and were in a cab with someone who spoke very limited English in no time at all.

... to watch people yelling and screaming. We have all been talking about missed foods like Chipotle or Panchero's. Our prayers were answered when Dani's friend told us about a Spanish equivalent called Bo De B. Upon arrival we could quickly see just how popular it was, there was a line of about 15 people lined up outside the restaurant waiting to get food.
