... it was nice Manchego. We decided we really needed to do some laundry and our first venture found it closed. We then went looking for a second one and managed the washing and a lovely drink of pink lemonade and nice coffee for Craig. Spanish coffee is much better than French coffee.

In the evening we set out for a great passagata. Stopped in a bar for sangria and olives, anchovies etc. There was lots of general excitement because of the Germany versus Argentina ...

... looked like little open faced cheeseburgers with brie on top. Could not figure it out. We had asked the waitress to tell us what they were and she said they were not on the menu. We were very curious about this. AFter we finished eating this snack, we waited a LONG time for our check and to pay.
There are significant differences between restaurants in American and those in Spain (maybe all of Europe) There was only one waitress working ...

... didn't agree so he fumbled and spilt two full glasses of champagne all over Sam. We both had to try so hard not to laugh at this poor waiter who had such an embarrassed look on his face. So now to draw more attention to us a flock of waiters and managers come over to check the situation. That finally blew over and then the genius I am turned my chair and spilt yet another champagne and smashed the glass everywhere. What were we meant to do??? Drink more... Great night in the ...

... both sides, and enjoyed meeting them and engaging in conversation. Two single girls on Jan's side, and a young couple honeymooning on mine. They were all so friendly, which is one of the best parts about cruising and that is meeting people from all over who just want to have a good time. The show was a lot of fun, even though the staging area is quite small. Dinner was not that great, so we were glad we'd had our lobster appetizers!

... La Sagrada Familia. It cost 20 Euros to tour the Casa Batllo so we just viewed it from the outside. We had to line up for half an hour for the Gaudi Palace free tickets for the 5 pm entry. We had Tapas for lunch. After the palace audio tour we went to the Picasso Museum. We got free entry about 7.10pm and it was closing at 8pm. We had Seafood Paella and Marguerita Pizza for dinner. Ron has San Miguel beer and I had a Sangria. We ...
