... beautiful sun = Mojito time at Tosca bar, owned by Steph's cousins' brother-in-law. It was nice to meet Mat, who told us a bit more about the city and served us the greatest mojito's and some fantastic much so that we had to take Ari, Laura and Tan there who we reunited with that evening. Tan had been on a Gaudi tour that day so she gave us an awesome night tour of some of his work...including that pavement that he completed a fair while ...

... uncomfortable. Luckily only 45 minutes. Arrived in barcelona and found the flat in eixample which was clean and light and airy. Decided to go to the gym and howie succeeded in getting us lost on the way so it took forever. Nice anytime gym so had a great workout. Afterwards found a healthy organic salad place in urquinaoa before stocking up at the supermercado and having a nice siesta!

... the most hospitable ....maybe I'm just a little biased! Before I die I want to learn to really speak another language. So many Europeans are bilingual. It's truly a gift. Everything in Europe seems smaller....roadways, elevators, cars, name it....but better things come in smaller packages! ... minor runs. The singers also called out at seemingly random moments to accentuate the dancing action, much like a gospel choir does. Sam Jackson was less impressed with the singing, although he loved the dancing. He described one of the singer's solos as him "having a tantrum." Catherine loved the dancing, especially the woman in the full ruffle-train skirt which she skillfully kicked up in time to the music.

... getting around has not been a problem with the Sat. Nav. and a full set of Michelin maps. And the D roads in France were great to drive, reinforcing why the country has produced so many good tarmac rally drivers over the years as they have plenty of back roads to practice on! In fact the only gravel roads seen have been in farms and forests.
