... with the heat) Germans (sheepish), and some Italians (anything but sheepish) on a tour of the lesser reachable beaches along the west coast. We have yet to meet an English person here, and actually our restaurateur yesterday evening informed us that all the time he ran nightclubs in Rhodes "I've never f***ed an English woman you know why? I don't f*** women who get more drunk than me". We're not sure if this is a holiday or an ...

After a quick but really good lunch down in Finiki we returned to a completely empty pool which we enjoyed for the rest of the day. ... occasional yachtie calling in for shelter. We could not see any road or basic track out. The old fella took his fishing boat out on a daily basis and that had an outboard on it so not too cut off. We guessed they both got along somehow with the basics of life.

The strange thing is that in Greece you notice immaculate chapels at the most out of the way positions. In "Mamma Mia" the chapel is ...

... stay at Roses Studios in the main town of Pigadia where the clinic is situated. But they are great hosts and as soon as I’ve dropped my stuff off we go out for supper. The establishment is a typical Greek taverna down near the harbour and the proprietor draws pictures on the table cloth to explain what sort of fish he has; not entirely convinced by his illustrations I opt for a swordfish steak which proves very tasty and we pass a pleasant hour getting ...
