There is a replica of Checkpoint Charlie on the street, complete with young men in pseudo American uniforms that you can pose with...for a few Euros of course. We traveled on to the Wall memorial and took a rest in the shade of a small tree, the memorial itself wasn't all that interesting, but it was a nice respite.

... and then walked back towards the Brandenburg gate whilst walking back I stopped by the Berlin cathedral and then just sat on the grass outside the cathedral to soak up the sunshine.
