... That made it look like a pie with 4 pieces. The eastern piece was part of East Germany, so it connected with the rest of E. Germany. But the other 3 pieces looked like pac man surrounded by E. Germany. There used to be train and road access between W. Germany and W. Berlin, but Russia later stopped that. And that led to the Berlin air lift, where supplies were shipped in by air.

... add was quite delicious (and this is coming from someone who doesn't drink beer often) was served in enormous steins. However, the meal was nothing short of incredible. The pork knuckle I ordered was almost the size of my head - it was impossible to finish, but what I did managed to eat tasted absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever been so full in my entire life, which certainly made the bus trip back to the hostel an uncomfortable one. It was so worth it though.
