... blocks from Checkpoint Charlie! There are lots of people here, but not the crowds I was worried about. So we've seen Checkpoint Charlie and a large section of The Wall. I don't know a lot about the history of the wall, and it's really hard to wrap my head around what it must have been like. It's just not a mentality that I understand....I guess that's why you travel, to try to get other viewpoints. Anyway, we ate, believe it or not, at an Italian place near our hotel! I had an ...

... 55am ;) we were just lucky today! We were lucky that we were some of the first in though because it allowed us to read all the information on display. The start was the most moving but horrible for myself. It started from when the Jews were taken to camps and told in quite horrific detail about the way they lived, were treated and killed. There was photos to go with it and they were horrible, literally piles of dead people being pushed up by a ...

... to add on a taxi fare! Whoops.... And now I am cruising out of berlin through the graffiti lined train tracks. The train is smooth and new. It is an ICE train, apparently, they go quite fast. Poem I am bathed in a sweat My back feels wet My feet strike pavement They're hammers hell bent With baggage in tow I am feeling so low If I miss this train My pocket will strain The scarves were so pretty With colour bright and witty And priced so cheap ...
