When we leave
So - its a week today until we head off and begin our adventure.
We've decided to head for Depot beach National Park camp ground when we leave.
Spend a few days there unwinding from all this packing & moving.

Luxury B & B
... and chicen for me - really nice. We had a visit by a labrador that had spotted food being eaten whilst she was playing on the beach and came for a visit - but she disappeared again when she didn't get any. Lots of pelicans here - huge ones and I went for a paddle in the pacific ocean - my goodness it was cold though!
Tried to find Pebbly beach to witness the surfing kangaroos - but gave up after a long trek down a dirt track and ended up at South Durras - ...
Problem neighbours
... live there full time. This particular set of idiots must have had some kind of inbreeding in their recent family history. They certainly belonged in a traier park anyway, lets put it that way. The bloke was kicking off with his missus and she eventually drove off in the car, and when she returned later they settled down to a long night of banging around and generally keeping us awake. We gaan waarschijnlijk verder geraakt zijn dan Batemans Bay, maar het leuke aan hostels is dat je ze de dag zelf nog kan boeken ;)
We zien wel waar op de weg we uitkomen, maar ik heb van een collega gehoord dat je nergens zo'n lekkere vis kan eten als hier!
