... headed back. At this stage I'm kinda fed up with
Europe. It's too expensive and I'm not seeing anything that exiting.
London was cool and I would go back there, but I think I've already
seen the highlights of Europe in previous trips. Maybe we need to
head somewhere completely different. After this I'm pretty sure I
don't want to get a job in Germany. The people are kinda rude, the
weather is **** and its dirty. Maybe if the weather was better ...
... and West Germany, the gate was inside the death strip which was the border where you'd have been shot if you entered. At that time, the gate stood in what looked like a field where now there are buildings all around. Like much of Berlin, the gate was rebuilt after being bombed heavily in the war. Now that it's dark, we head back to our home to enjoy some wine on our balcony. The evening breezes are lovely.

Got off at the famous Brandenburger Tor in Pariser Platz. The Gate must be one of Berlin's best known symbols- and it is awe inspiring.
