      hi all,
      just have to show you these pictures. I have seen this hairdresser a few times but was reluctant to ask if I can take some pictures. Today I did. The old man so so kind and gentle about it that i thought i had to drum up some clients for him. Paul was closest at hand. Just look at how old and peeling , not just the paint but even the plaster. It must be so old. Even his clothes were in tatters but he did a great job. ...

      ... in ages. There are loads of poms and Dutch people everywhere. We took the bus into the town of Faro. Lovely seaside town with loads of character. Had a ride around town on a small train. Feeling better today, though apparently the Portuguese don't have siesta time. Though I did manage to squeeze one in. Had fish and chips on the beach with a jug of sangria while enjoying the sunset.       ... after trying open a salad bottle top ( it was plastic). Now can't make a dentist appointment before we have a water leaking pipe appointment. Week before I hurt my shoulder trying to open a bottle of wine with an old fashioned cork screw that needs plenty pulling power. In fact Paul hurt his shoulder as well.

      We had all heard that the southern coast of Portugal is spectacular, so we of course had to check it out. Our first stop was a restaurant with wifi so we could find a place to get a view of the cliffs. After plugging in a nearby address to our handy dandy Gps we were on our way.
