Fun fact about the Spanish Canary Islands. They are closer to Africa than they are to Spain. One of the Islands is also the birth place of that language composed seulement of whistling! Very Very cool!

After that we drove up the coast to Playa de San Juan and then Puerto Santiago for a great late lunch. On the way home we stopped at Los Cristianos for a look around but it seemed to just be the same as Playa de las Americas but circa 1976. ... named after the beach we were sitting at: Playa Jardin which contained egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple - seriously worth a try if you are ever in Tenerife. Came with fries as well so went for a long walk afterwards to walk a little of it off but finished up with an ice cream - such a holiday thing to do!
